Orchards End’s Group classes are fun and inspiring! We always encourage individuals to measure their progress against themselves, not the person next to them! Our entire program is based on bio-individuality and this encompasses nutrition, exercise, mental and emotional fortitude and goal setting.
Our fitness and yoga instructors recognize that everyone has different starting points, strengths and challenges. If you are worried about not having any strength or dance training or fear you won’t be able to keep up, rest assured that our instructors will guide you through the movements and offer constructive feedback and modifications to exercises and postures.
Each person can be challenged at their own level in class without affecting anyone else’s workout or feeling singled out by our instructors. We design our classes so that the movements can be completely modified to fit each individual’s range of motion and specific needs.
After each fun and effective class, your entire body will truly feel the benefits of detoxification. You’ll feel stretched, strengthened and energized. As you continue to attend classes, you will build more lean muscle mass and raise your resting metabolic rate, which can help you to produce more energy and expend calories and toxins.

If you perform any combination of HITT and barre workouts 2-4 times weekly, you will typically notice changes in as little as one month.

Essentially, barre classes mix elements of Pilates, ballet, yoga and functional training to give you an energizing and targeted workout. The small, super-controlled movements that take place in barre classes reduce pressure on your joints, tendons, ligaments and spine. By doing barre regularly, you’ll also notice a remarkable improvement in your core strength and posture. While a tight core will give you a taller appearance, it will also keep you safe from injuries.
In our classes you’ll use the barre and exercise equipment such as mini-balls, ankle bands and small hand weights to sculpt, slim and stretch your entire body. Barre’s tiny motions, many reps, intentional squeezes and pulses are designed to fatigue muscles and create definition.
Improved range-of-motion is one of the greatest benefits of barre exercise. Sometimes people are flexible but not strong, or strong but not flexible. Barre classes work your body in a way that creates a balance of flexibility and strength.
